Privacy Policy

Gorkha Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates Joggerz (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and related services. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please do not access or use the App.

1. Information we collect

We may collect information that you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use the App.

• Account and profile data: such as name, email address, or other identifiers you choose to provide when you register or contact us.
• Health and activity data: including steps, distance, calories, workouts, or similar metrics when you grant permission through your device or connected services.
• Device and usage data: such as device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and general usage patterns to improve reliability and performance.
• Subscriptions and purchases: subscription status, renewal or lapse information, and limited transaction or receipt metadata from Apple or Google in-app purchase systems, as further described in Section 3 below.
• Sign-in with Google or Apple: when you use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, we may receive the types of information described in Section 2 below (such as name, email, profile image if provided, and a unique identifier), as made available by those providers according to your choices and their policies.
• Advertising and tracking data: device identifiers and related information used by advertising partners to deliver, measure, and improve ads, as further described in Section 4 below.

2. Social authentication

You may create and access your Joggerz account using Google Sign-In and/or Sign in with Apple where offered in the App. When you use these options, sign-in is handled by Google or Apple using their own secure systems. Your Google or Apple account password is never shared with Joggerz, and we do not receive credentials used only to authenticate you with those providers.

Depending on your settings and what each provider discloses to the App, we may receive:

• Your name or display name;
• Your email address (which may be a private relay address when you use Sign in with Apple's “Hide My Email”);
• A profile picture, if you choose to share it with the App;
• A unique authentication identifier associated with your account on that provider.

We use this information only for account creation, authentication, security (including fraud prevention), and providing the App's services, consistent with this Privacy Policy. Google and Apple process sign-in data under their respective privacy policies and technical safeguards; we encourage you to review those policies to understand how they handle your information.

Revoking access

You may review or revoke the App's connection to your Google account through your Google Account settings (for example, security settings and third-party app access). For Apple, you can manage apps that use Sign in with Apple from your Apple ID account settings (for example, Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID, or the equivalent on your device). Revoking access may prevent you from signing in with that provider until you authorize the App again or use another sign-in method we support.

3. Subscriptions, purchases, and store-provided data

When you purchase or manage a Joggerz premium subscription, we may receive information from Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) that is necessary to provide premium features, including subscription status, product identifiers, renewal or expiry dates, billing issue or grace-period signals, and transaction identifiers. We do not receive your full payment card number from those platforms; payment processing is handled by Apple or Google under their respective terms and privacy policies.

We use this information to validate entitlements, restore purchases, prevent fraud, improve subscription-related reliability, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, and communicate important notices about your access where permitted by law.

4. Advertising and tracking

Joggerz may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners such as Google AdMob. These partners may collect device identifiers and other information to provide, measure, and improve advertising services.

On iOS devices, users may be asked for permission to allow tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies. If permission is granted, advertising partners may use the device advertising identifier (IDFA) to deliver and measure personalized advertisements. Users can manage or revoke this permission at any time through their device settings (for example, Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on iPhone).

5. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features;
• Personalize your experience and display your activity insights;
• Communicate with you about updates, support, or important notices;
• Monitor and analyze usage to improve security and develop new features;
• Operate, validate, and support premium or subscription features, including working with Apple or Google in-app purchase systems;
• Authenticate your account and secure your sessions when you use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple;
• Display and measure advertising where the free version of the App is supported by ads;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

6. Legal basis (where applicable)

Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area), we process personal data on the basis of your consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as improving the service), or legal obligation, as appropriate to the processing activity.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who assist us in hosting, analytics, or customer support, subject to contractual safeguards. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger), with notice where appropriate.

Depending on how you use the App, categories of recipients may include cloud hosting and database providers, authentication services, analytics and product-usage tools, crash and error reporting (for example, Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics), push notification delivery services, email or communications providers, and advertising partners (for example, Google AdMob) that help us serve and measure ads. These processors are permitted to use personal information only as instructed by us to provide their services, except where aggregate or de-identified data is permitted by contract and law.

8. Data retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our internal practices.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also adjust permissions in your device settings (for example, motion or health data). If you use Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, you can also manage provider permissions as described in Section 2. For advertising and tracking on iOS, you can manage App Tracking Transparency and related settings as described in Section 4.

11. Account and data deletion

You may delete your Joggerz account and associated data using either of the following methods:

We may retain certain information where required for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes, as described in our retention practices. If you signed up using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, you may use either option above. Deleting your Joggerz account is separate from revoking the App's access in your Google or Apple settings (see Section 2); you may wish to do both if you want to end all association. Upon account deletion, we will remove or anonymize your account and profile data from our services in accordance with this policy, subject to the exceptions noted in this section.

12. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe we have collected information from a child inappropriately, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. International transfers

If we transfer personal data across borders, we will take steps consistent with applicable law to ensure appropriate protection (such as adequate safeguards or standard contractual clauses).

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy, where permitted by law.
